Our Goal

Provide a safe and healthy environment for Kids (Ages 2-5 & 6-12) to have fun, meet new friends, and enjoy "old-fashion" play. Also, to provide parents with free time for themselves while their children are enjoying themselves at a safe, exciting, spontaneous and affordable child care facility. Have you ever had child care needs come up at the last minute or have a caregiver cancel without notice? Playmates will be there for you without the need for reservations. Do you ever find yourself in need of just a "moment" of peace and tranquility? We can help. And your kids will thank you for it because they will be having a great time too!

Early Learning

Learning through play is a term used in education and psychology to describe how a child can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. If you would like your two-year-old to experience independence and play in a group setting, mornings are the perfect time for them to join us at Playmates.

We have spent more than fourteen years helping little ones discover that separation can open up a whole new world to explore. Separation anxiety? Not a problem. Just take it slowly and show your child that you have confidence in them and their ability to adapt and cope with a new experience. During their visits they will begin to develop skills like sharing, following directions, understanding boundaries, and making transitions. While this is not a structured, academic preschool approach, your child will be learning and growing towards preschool. Mornings can also be a great time for three and four-year olds to benefit from playtime with Playmates.
